Waving Wheat

Golden wheat as far as the eye can see across the High Desert of Eastern Washington. The waining of Summer brings on the harvest season. Wheat is one of the crops that flourish in the Eastern part of Washington State. The sun beating down on the fields matches the golden color of the ripe wheat. It was all I could do not to walk though the field dragging my fingers through the fat heads of wheat as they swayed on their thin stalks. I held my urges in check though. LOL I satisfied myself with stealing a picture instead.
